Grammy-nominated Po’ Ramblin’ Boys Perform Hard-driving, Traditional Bluegrass Music

Music lovers, get ready for another season of world-class live music as Cooperstown Concerts announces its 2026-2027 season opening concert featuring an afternoon of hard-driving, traditional bluegrass music from The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys, a Grammy-nominated band from Nashville, Tennessee. The concert takes place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, 3:00 PM at The Glimmerglass Festival Pavilion (7300 NY-80,
Cooperstown). To buy tickets, go to Cooperstown Concerts.

In ten years as a band, The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys have covered a lot of miles sharing their love of bluegrass with audiences drawn to their hard-charging, true-blue sound. The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys have always been known for barreling bluegrass forward, and as they move into their second
decade as a band, they’re, maintaining that momentum both onstage and in the studio, with songs inspired by all they’ve seen and a renewed energy along for the ride.

Amid all their travels, The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys have seen every nook and cranny of the country, met people from all walks of life, and kept a keen eye toward the truth, which rings out loud and clear in the songs they write. “Wanderers Like Me,” the title track from their 2024 album and the
band’s first No. 1 song on the Bluegrass Unlimited chart, shoots straight from the heart: “Wanderers like me don’t settle down for no one” is the lyric that opens the song. “We live what we play and sing about,” says bandleader C.J. Lewandowski.

Indeed, hard work and deep feeling are baked into their songs, which have been celebrated with a Grammy nomination for Best Bluegrass Album and International Bluegrass Music Association recognition ranging from the Emerging Artist of the Year award to a nomination for Entertainer of the Year.
