The high-energy, roots reggae and Jamaican pop band The Big Takeover thrilled the crowd at our sold-out show on May 2, with their infectious rhythms and feel-good vibes. Hosted by Cooperstown Concerts, the concert and season finale party was a blast with this amazing ensemble, packed dance floor, and fantastic island-inspired food and drinks. 

From the very first note to the last encore, this incredible seven-piece band had the crowd on their feet. Fronted by the charismatic Nee Nee Rushie and backed by a powerhouse brass section, they delivered big hooks, rich arrangements, and a joyful global sound that lit up the room.

As a special thank you to our amazing supporters, we served up Jamaican-inspired bites and tropical drinks – bringing the Caribbean spirit right into the heart of Cooperstown.
