An Evening of Great Music and Community:
Eloise & Co. Shines in Cooperstown

The acclaimed folk ensemble Eloise & Co. captivated a full house on Saturday evening at The Otesaga Hotel, as Cooperstown Concerts presented another night of world-class music. The vibrant performance – part of the trio’s avec Elodie new album release tour – enchanted the crowd throughout the evening, which ended with a standing ovation.

The evening began in the Cooperstown Concerts Lounge, a cozy space where guests gathered for conversation and a fantastic pre-show set by Fast Friends, a local Americana quartet. 

Then, the crowd moved to the ballroom, where Eloise & Co. – with Becky Tracy on fiddle, Rachel Bell on accordion, and Rachel Aucoin on piano – took the stage and delivered a masterful performance that was both intimate and dynamic. Throughout the joyful and lively concert, the trio displayed true musical chemistry and decades of individual artistry.

Their multi-genre music flowed seamlessly between styles and moods: spirited Celtic reels, soulful waltzes, energetic Québécois tunes, and playful French songs. Tracy’s fiddle was fiery and lyrical, Bell’s accordion added color and emotion, and Aucoin’s piano brought depth, warmth, and new complexity. 

Audience members found themselves completely drawn in by the beauty and energy of the music – enjoying the quietest passages and tapping toes to the high-energy tunes. 

In a very special moment, people across the room came together, linking arms and dancing, while the music played around them. It was in this moment that the essence of our organization’s mission – to promote cultural growth in our community through live music events – was perfectly embodied. Community and culture, together in concert.

Eloise & Co. has given Cooperstown a night to remember – a night filled with extraordinary musicianship and the shared joy that makes live music magical.
