Cooperstown Concerts is turning up the heat with a doubleheader of live music for the 2026 Cooperstown Winter Carnival in February. Get ready to shake off the winter chill with great music, dancing, nostalgia, and fun at The Otesaga Resort Hotel (60 Lake Street, Cooperstown) on February 6 and February 7, 7:30 PM.
On Saturday, February 7, the weekend of amazing music continues with American Girl – A Tribute to Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers. Featuring seasoned musicians from New York, American Girl captures the essence and infectious hook-laden melodies that Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers gave us.
The centerpiece of this super group is veteran singer/guitar player Lou F. Kennedy. With his seasoned voice, Lou sets the stage in motion as a ringer frontman for this powerhouse outfit. The band consists of Brian Gabrielo on lead guitar, Dante Fiorio on keyboards, Phil Tuzzolo on drums, Frank Cabanach on bass. and veteran John Faughey contributing with backing vocals, keyboards, percussion, harmonica, acoustic & electric guitars.
Every piece of this band aptly represents the original player of the original band – The Heartbreakers were a band, always, first and foremost.
